Bake sale benefits HeartStrong and its Youth Empowerment Project

Award-winning cake artist Rod Gambassi's gourmet cookies, brownies and other baked items will be for sale at the HeartStrong table in the fellowship hall to raise funds for HeartStrong and its Youth Empowerment Project.

HeartStrong provides life-saving hope and help to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students bullied and persecuted at religious educational institutions around the world. HeartStrong's Youth Empowerment Project is distributing educator's resource guides to every public, private and religious school counselor in the United States free of charge.

Available items will be Rod's red velvet white chocolate brownies, his gourmet cookies including Hazelnut Nutella Sandwiches, Lemon Rosemary Shortbread, Ginger Pecan Dulce de leche Sandwiches, Pistachio Caramel Sandwiches and our Pumpkin Walnut Chunk vegan cookies.

There are also red velvet cupcakes with white chocolate cream cheese icing and an assortment of 6 inch cakes available for pre-order.  Don't worry your family's best friend is covered!  Rod is bringing his Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats.

Everything is ready for you to enjoy right after the service and can be packaged to take home with you.  Items are priced from $1 to $20. 100% of ALL proceeds will go to support the all volunteer work of HeartStrong. (Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.)
